کتاب Ahmad Ahmad Memoirs

Ahmad Ahmad Memoirs ترجمه انگلیسی خاطرات احمد احمد از مبارزان دوران پهلوی دوم  و عضو حزب مخفی ملل اسلامی به رهبری سید محمدکاظم بجنوردی است. احمد احمد در سال ۱۳۴۴ دستگیر شد . وی در آخرین برخورد با مأموران ساواک از ناحیه پا تیر خورد و مصدوم و معلول شد. احمد احمد بیش از ۷۰ ساعت مصاحبه کرد و محسن کاظمی بیش از دو سال وقت گذاشت تا ماحصلش این کتاب شد. او در این کتاب از کسانی که برای رسیدن به پیروزی بهای سنگینی پرداختن و از مدعیانی که در نیمه راه تغییر مسیر داده اند گفته است.  نوشتن این کتب چهار سال طول کشیده است.

Birth and Family

I was born on a spring day of 1939 in Irin, a village around Islam-Shahr in suburban areas of Tehran. I was the third child of a in a religious family. I was grown up by my kind and faithful mother, under the shadow of my hard-working, humble and sincere father.

My father was working in the same village as a farmer and shepherd. Although he was not well-educated, he was smarter than other villagers of Irin. He helped them to get along with their issues and sometimes played the role of headman. As a result, our home was a place for solving the problems of many other villagers and fixing their affairs.

Though my mother, like my father, was not educated but she could recite Quran so good. She knew many chapters of Quran and Gulistan of Saadi by heart. She participated in religious and mourning gatherings and was a devoted believer of Shia Imams. Whenever she heard the names of Shia Imams, she wept involuntarily for them. The mid she had breast-fed us with was mixed with those tears, as she said. My elder brother, Mahdi, was a faithful religions man who beard many hardships during Imam Khomeini‟s Movement. He was respected by all the family and was my role model in religious and revolutionary ideologies. I may briefly explain more about his activities.

Another brother of mine, Mahmood, was born imbecile and died in youth because of his illness, despite all the care given by the family. My sisters, Khadijah and Fatimah, are both very faithful and they wear Hijab. My elder sister, Khadijah, was a great supporter and care giver of my parents when my brother and I were fleeing from SAVAK agents or being undercover.
